What is it all about?

The Nettuno Skin Care Programme: what it is and how it works

We have long been committed to the Nettuno Programme, a comprehensive workplace action plan that includes hand protection, thorough hand washing and skin care after every work shift.

These three essential concepts are now integrated in the new Skin Care Board, a special panel that encapsulates the principles of the Skin Care Programme in an innovative and practical idea, perfectly adaptable to the needs of every company and professional environment.

With the aim of creating increasingly hygienic and safe working spaces for workers, the Nettuno panel consists of three different dispensers:

- The first one contains hand protection products, which are the barrier creams to be applied on the skin before the start of the shift

- The second dispenses the solutions for thorough hand washing, using the most advanced cleaning formulas available

- The third dispenses the best moisturising creams, which are essential for restoring the skin's hydrolipidic film after long hours of work and repeated washing.

The Skin Care Board is conveniently mounted on the wall and is available in a fixed 3-station version, as well as in individual and modular panels. You can choose to install a complete board in the washroom or at the most convenient places for employees to access it before, during and after their shift. Or you can place individual parts of the panel in different areas of your working environment, such as production areas, toilets, changing rooms and so on.

Each panel measures 23 x 55 x 14 cm and is an extremely versatile solution that can be easily adapted to your company, your production flows and the needs of the people in your workplace.

What benefits does the Skin Care Programme offer?

There are many benefits that Nettuno panels can offer. First of all, the Skin Care Programme represents an innovative solution, which meets the needs of professionals and aims at creating safer environments for every worker. This is a goal that should be shared by every manager and safety officer in the company, but also by every freelancer who cares about his profession and his health.

Thanks to Nettuno panels, workers' hands can always remain protected and clean, thus eliminating the possibility of incurring occupational diseases and skin disorders. Using the latest protection and cleansing products allows workers to have presentable and tidy hands when they are outside the workplace, without traces of dirt, stains, cracks, redness or bad odours.

What products can the Skin Care Programme deliver?

The three panels of the Skin Care Programme each have a specific purpose.

The Protection panel is designed to be used before the work shift and can contain Nettuno's best skin protection products: barrier creams, available in different versions in the catalogue. Protexsol Professional is a cream that creates an effective protective film on the skin against greasy and oily substances. Protexins Plus, on the other hand, creates a barrier layer against water-based substances to reduce maceration of the skin under safety equipment such as work gloves. Protexsun Protection SPF 30 is a sunscreen that shields the skin from the damaging effects of UVA and UVB rays, perfect when spending several hours outdoors in the sun.

The Wash Panel, on the other hand, is for use during the working shift, when dirt and chemicals are attacking the skin. Depending on the type of job, more or less frequent washing may be required, but in any case it is advisable to thoroughly cleanse the skin before handling food or drink and before leaving the workplace. Inside the Skin Care Board it is possible to insert MacroCream, Nettuno's hand-washing cream that is able to remove even the heaviest dirt thanks to the action of its abrasive but gentle formula, which contains vegetable scrubber and emollient substances.

The Care panel is also essential. People often tend to think that, after washing, hand care is over, but in reality this is not the case: the skin needs to be helped in its regenerative functions through the most suitable professional creams, designed specifically for workers' skin. These are deeply nourishing substances, but with a light and easily absorbed consistency that leaves no grease or residue on the skin. These creams are indispensable for making the skin soft and successfully preserving its health over time. The Care panel can contain Protexem Rinnova, the moisturising cream suitable for hands and face, which supports the regenerative activity of the skin and averts the risk of dehydration and dryness.

Each panel can be kept active at all times through the practical dispenser refills: the dispensers make it easy to see when the product is running low, and refill replacement operations are extremely simple and quick.

The use of refills is particularly functional as it means that the entire panel does not have to be replaced when the product runs out, and they also make an important contribution to the sustainability of professional products.
